On “Gas hub Balkan“the supply of the blue fuel for today decreased by 8.96 percent – to BGN 53.85 per megawatt hour. The price on the Bulgarian gas exchange in this segment in recent days was within BGN 60 per megawatt hour, and yesterday and today it fell below this value as well, BTA reported.
Price of natural gas in Europe decreased by 1.81 percent as of 12:09 Bulgarian time compared to the quotations at the close of the exchange from last night, according to the data from the latest update of the London ICE exchange. June futures on the TTF hub in the Netherlands traded at €24.99 per megawatt hour, or just over $268 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Data from Europe’s largest gas exchange show that this is the lowest natural gas price since September 27, 2021, when it was 24.51 euros per megawatt hour.
This morning the exchange opened at a price of 24.27 euros per megawatt hour, and last night it closed at 25.45 euros per megawatt hour.
