It was announced last month that the price of cars manufactured by Maruti will be hiked. Maruti had explained that the decision to increase the price was due to the increase in the cost of manufacturing the car. Accordingly, the price of Maruti’s cars has been increased by 1.1 percent since Monday. This price hike is applicable to all cars in general and not specific models.
As of now, Maruti Suzuki’s Arena portfolio includes cars like Alto, Alto K10, Wagon R, Celerio, Swift, S-Presso, Dzire, Ertiga, Brezza and Eco. The Nexa lineup includes Baleno, Ignis, XL6, Ciaz and Grand Vitara.
Maruti Suzuki is set to add two new cars to its Nexa lineup, the Jimny 5-door and the Franks crossover. Both these new variants were introduced at the Auto Expo 2023. Bookings for these cars are currently underway.
