Prices of vegetables and fish have come down due to good supply in the market. However, the price of goods in the grocery market is stable.

Meanwhile, broiler chicken prices have decreased this week compared to last week. It is being sold at 170 to 180 taka per kg. Golden chicken prices have also come down, selling at Tk 250 to Tk 260 per kg. Red chicken is being sold at Tk 280 per kg. Beef is being sold at Tk 800 per kg and beef at Tk 1100 per kg. 150 to 155 per dozen eggs.

On the other hand, prices of daily necessities in the grocery market have remained stable. Desi onion is being sold for 110 to 120 rupees. Potatoes are being sold at 60 to 65 taka. Garlic is being sold at Tk 240 and Ginger at Tk 350.

Meanwhile, the price of rice in the market has increased slightly. According to standards, miniket rice is being sold at Tk 65-72, Atash rice at Tk 57-59, Nazirshail at Tk 71-73, Katari Nazir at Tk 77-79, Katari Atap rice at Tk 66-68, Chinigura is being sold at Tk 80-120 per kg. .

Soleman Miah, a vegetable seller at Newmarket in the capital, told RisingBD that the price of vegetables this week is slightly lower than last week.

Runa Begum RisingBD, a housewife who came to shop at the Salek Garden raw market in the capital, said that now I see students conducting raids in the market along with the Consumer Affairs Department. So that sellers can’t overcharge us. It is a good initiative, we hope that if such supervision is regular, the prices will come down further in the future.
