The prices of ghee and groundnuts fluctuated in the Virudhunagar market

The prices of coconut oil and groundnut have increased in the Virudhunagar market.

Due to low supply of sesame seeds, the price of ghee (15 kg) rose by Rs.200 to Rs. 4,700 for sale. Similarly, the price of 25 kg of chickpeas has increased by Rs.125 and is now being sold at Rs.5,525. The price of 55 kg of fried chickpeas has increased by Rs.250 to Rs.4100. Due to high supply, palm oil has been reduced by Rs.50 to Rs.2000 per 15 kg, while the price of a 100 kg bag of cattle fodder has dropped to Rs. 100 and sold for Rs.4500. There is no change in the prices of gram flour, duram dal and wathal.
