Pakistan invited Azerbaijan to participate in tasks associated to grease, fuel and renewable power sources (RES), the Ministry of Power of Azerbaijan reported following the primary assembly of the Joint Working Group on Power between Azerbaijan and Pakistan (held on-line), Day.Az studies.

Deputy Minister of Power Kamal Abbasov and Particular Secretary of the Ministry of Power of Pakistan (Petroleum Division) Bushra Aman, who spoke on the assembly, acknowledged the existence of vast alternatives for increasing cooperation in varied areas of the economic system.

Abbasov recalled the significance of implementing the “Settlement on Power Cooperation between the Authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Authorities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.”

Co-chair of the Joint Working Group on Power Bushra Aman expressed confidence that cooperation between SOCAR and oil and fuel corporations of Pakistan will proceed efficiently.

Following the assembly, the protocol of the first assembly of the Joint Working Group on Power was signed.

The assembly was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Power and Financial system, SOCAR, Azerbaijan Funding Holding and Azerbaijan Funding Firm, in addition to the ambassadors of Azerbaijan to Pakistan and Pakistan to Azerbaijan.
