Lapid, who at the time was in the car on the way to Ofer prison, was unable to connect via the red phone – and a significant part of the call was not on

A few hours after the undercover agents arrested Bassam al-Saadi, the senior leader of the Islamic Jihad in Samaria, in the Jenin refugee camp tonight – today (Tuesday) the political echelon held a security situation assessment

However, according to a report by Yaron Avraham on News 12, in the assessment of the situation that exists today the Prime Minister of the transition government was missing one person on the conversation – and that is: Yair Lapid.

Two sources who were in the consultation call said: Lapid was unable to connect via the red phone, and a significant part of it was not on the call.

Other sources said: There were technical difficulties not only for Lapid but also for Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi and the head of the Shin Bet Ronan Bar.

Avraham pointed out that because he does not know the reason for Lapid’s connection difficulties – he was at the time in the car on the way to ‘Ofer’ prison, but in the bottom line, for at least a significant part of the conversation – the Prime Minister was not on the situation assessment call that he himself convened.
