The representative of Unicef ​​in Burundi, John Abgor said that their meeting focused on a new program that the Government of Burundi and UNICEF are developing in the sectors of health, education, protection social and many more. A program which will cover the year 2024 to 2027 and which will follow the vision of the Head of State Evariste Ndayishimiye that of Burundi, an emerging country in 2040 and a developed country in 2060, indicated John Abgor.

The representative of Unicef ​​in Burundi recalled that Unicef ​​collaborates with 13 ministries among the 15 ministries of the Burundian Government.
The Representative of Unicef ​​in Burundi said that UNICEF will support the Government of Burundi in reducing infant mortality and in the fight against chronic malnutrition among children.
John Agbor indicated that this organization will also support children aged 6 to 18 so that they have access to school and quality training.
The Prime Minister thanked them for the work done by Unicef ​​in Burundi and encouraged them to continue in this regard.

As for the members of the executive bureau of the CVR who went to submit the report for the 2022 financial year to the Prime Minister, Pierre Claver Ndayicariye President of the CVR indicated that this report is rich in 52 volumes of more than 19 thousand pages which focus on the serious violations that Burundi experienced in the period from 1960 to 1973.

Mariama Cire Sylla, representative of the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank group was also received in audience by Prime Minister Gervais Ndirakobuca.
They discussed the challenges of the private sector in Burundi, the priorities of the Government of Burundi relating to the private sector and the activities of this branch of the World Bank in Burundi.
