Hundreds of Muscovites approached the Troyekurovo cemetery in the Russian capital this Saturday to say their last goodbye to military blogger Vladln Tatarskiassassinated in a bomb attack on the 2nd, and who was discharged with military honors.
According to images disseminated on social networks, during Tatarski’s funeral the well-known blogger’s coffin was guarded by an honor guard of five soldiers.
Once Tatarski’s remains were buried while a military orchestra played patriotic music, salutes were fired in his honor.
Near the coffin were placed his decorations received posthumously from the authorities and also from the Wagner military company, whose activities in Ukraine he was a regular propagandist.
The head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, also attended the funeral, but he did it before the arrival of the public, according to various Russian media.
Also attending Tatarski’s farewell ceremony was the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Leonid Slutsky.
At the same time, several independent media denounced the impossibility of accessing the burial place to cover the funeral.
Tatarski was assassinated in a bomb attack on April 2 in St. Petersburg, where he was giving a talk to dozens of followers on his social networks.
About 40 people were injured in the explosion, which the authorities described as a terrorist attack, orchestrated by the Ukrainian special services and the Russian opposition.
The alleged material author of the attack, a young Russian woman identified as Daria Trpova, was arrested that same day and accused of terrorism.
Tatarski, 40, was born in the Donetsk region of Ukraine and fought in 2014 on the pro-Russian side against the kyiv army.
After the start of the Russian war campaign in February 2022, he worked as a war correspondent and became famous for various controversial statements suggesting that any means are worth a shot to achieve a Russian victory in Ukraine, regardless of the number of possible victims. .
