The Professional Equality Trophy gets a makeover

This new edition, which is in line with the government policy on promoting the gender dimension and the fundamental rights of women at work, comes to “revolutionize the process”, indicates the ministry in a press release, announcing that to respond to the diversity of Moroccan companies, the Trophy will be split into three categories which will see large companies, medium-sized companies and very small companies compete.

Another new feature of this edition, which responds to a concern for territorial equity, the trophy will concern the twelve regions of the Kingdom and a “favorite” will be awarded to a company, whatever its size, which has caught the attention of the jury for its innovative practices in terms of gender equality.

The Professional Equality Trophy aims to reward companies that have distinguished themselves in terms of gender equality, particularly in terms of integrating the theme into corporate strategy and culture, in its communication as well as in operational human resources processes.

It also aims to enable private sector companies to distinguish themselves as leaders in the field of professional equality between women and men in the private sector in Morocco and to offer them an opportunity to share and debate good practices in this area.

Companies wishing to apply can submit their applications for the “Professional Equality” Trophy for this edition “until Friday, February 10 at 4:30 p.m.,” the press release emphasizes.

The selection will concern companies that have proven their compliance with standards relating to the principle of equal opportunities between the sexes in terms of employment, working conditions, continuing training, as well as in terms of the participation of women in the company’s representative bodies.

Candidate companies that have met the predefined criteria in this area will receive national and regional trophies and certificates of excellence in professional equality.
