Bangladesh Shipping Corporation Limited, a listed company in various sectors of the capital market, has published unaudited financial report for the third quarter (January-March, 2024) and nine months (July-March, 2024) of the current financial year. According to published reports, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) fell in nine months.

On Monday (May 6), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) informed this information.

Earlier on Sunday (May 5) the company’s board of directors meeting released the financial report for the first quarter of the current financial year after reviewing and approving it.

The company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the third quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 4.47. The company’s profit per share was Rs 4.08 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. In this case, the profit per share of the company has increased by 0.39 taka or 10 percent.

Meanwhile, the company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the three quarters or 9 months stood at Tk 11.05. The profit per share of the company was Rs.12.49 in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. In this case, the profit per share of the company has decreased by Tk 1.44 or 12 percent.

As on March 31, 2024, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 95.25.
