The promos promised a couples meeting, we got an entire episode-long teaser

by time news

And here’s the news and the main thing first: this episode was not really about the couples meeting. He generally did not exactly deal with anything. The most interesting thing that happened in the episode was the juicy teaser for the next episode – which included a hint of an early acquaintance, in the biblical sense, between two contestants (betting on Moshe and Maayan or Ben and Mai) – and a hard crunch of Liad and Limor. Oh, wait, something else actually happened Interesting in the episode – the advertisement for “interns” with the one who bit her tiger.

But do not point an accusing finger at Rainbow 12. It’s not that they’ve dried us up all week with teasers for the doubles meet to compensate us for two awesome episodes, it’s just important to them that we be prepared for the meet, or matriculation exam on the season so far. Oh, is that it? No, this is not another treatment scene that says again the things we already knew, it’s just a repetition of the material. Pay close attention to what May Moshe’s behavior gets upset this time, it will be in focus.

The plot of the episode is as follows: The couples prepare a dish for the meeting and get stressed. Everyone is afraid that the usual children will not let them sit with them in the back of the bus and / or that everyone will be more in love and sexy with them. Passengers. Travel a little further. At the same time Danny and Yael dig into where the couples are now and try to frame it as an achievement even when what they have to say is “if they initiate contact sometime it will probably be to strangle each other”.

No, that’s not the point. The main thing is to respect the viewers. “A wedding at first sight.” Screenshot / Arc 12

May and Moshe are the main characters of the episode, and for a change not because of an unnecessary quarrel. They started it by working on the dish for the encounter – choking patties with cauliflower and beans – and arguing over the size of the cauliflower and the use of a blender. The pressure is at its peak, but instead of another reason to break up cooking has become a crazy comedy of mistakes. They got into a spoon mode (May summed it all up in the punch line “I feel like in Kofiko’s episode”) and did not get out of it until the end of the episode. The highlights of the episode took place in May’s “Galit and Ilanit” games, which Moshe seemed very confused about but flowed with them with fun. How do aunts like to say? That all your life you will laugh.

Katya and Lior claimed that they were not under pressure, but on the way to the meeting it turns out that they were. That is, Katya under enormous pressure from the strange social encounter that awaits her. Lior is really fine with the situation and it is clear that he is already dying to show off. In the end he manages to calm his partner down and get her back in the car. Somewhere in their weekend, Danny and Yael open champagnes that this couple finally provides material that is not Katya and Lior to win two kisses on the forehead.

And we’ll move on to couples who provided less material: Rafael and Idit go to Castro Home and have some laughs. It’s not a commercial break, it’s content, I swear. Guy and Matan are finally officially dating and even have a kiss. Maayan is still hurt by a son and will be justified. Liad and Limor agree that it’s okay to talk to others about the quarrel in the Seychelles, as long as Liad does not take Limor a monster out. Lolly, this is the destination. The maximum they will get out of you is that the dog looking up at you is inaccurate.

And if you thought that as soon as all the couples arrive at the location, it’s over, the answer is – no, now a dance party. May and Moshe dance out of the car, then a little more in the room. Maayan and Ben dance without music outside the room. Yael and Danny dance around the white elephant which is the complete lack of chemistry between Edith and Raphael.

In the moment of truth Lior and Katya look relatively calm and chat about all sorts of things Lior bought (a meeting dress for Katya and plane tickets for both of them to London, to be specific). May and Moshe join them and the encounter, the end of every fucking end, kicks off. It turns out that Moshe and Lior know each other from time to time, while Mai and Katya know each other “from the dynamics” – that is, the screenings for the program. Everyone is laughing and having fun, except for Moshe who underwent a sudden transformation into a shy child on the first day of first grade.

When Guy and Matan join in the big celebration, with Moshe – because he knows Guy from the same “dynamic” – and with May – simply because there is a gay couple. May reacts as if this is the first pair of men she meets in reality and actually confirms Guy’s fear that instead of talking about the nature of the relationship they will have to talk about its very existence. Obviously it’s exciting to see a same-sex couple in prime time and it’s obviously fun to be said to be “beautiful on a backward level”, but let’s get into proportions for a moment.

The next couple was supposed to be Maayan and Ben, but they fell asleep and apparently the photographer was not comfortable waking them up, so we end the episode with a not-so-short photo of their beauty sleep. What more fitting than that.
