The Prosecutor General’s Office has opened a number of criminal cases against the BPR Rada, the head of the department for supervision over the implementation of state security legislation, Valery Shulyak, told reporters, BELTA reports. Now everyone involved in the organization is being identified.

Criminal cases, according to the Prosecutor General’s Office, were sent to the chairman of the KGB to organize a preliminary investigation, identify and bring to justice all persons involved in the activities of the specified formation (wherever they are: both abroad and on the territory of Belarus).

As reported in the Prosecutor General’s Office, despite the fact that the Rada of the Belarusian People’s Republic was recognized as an extremist formation by a decision of the State Security Committee of Belarus in July of this year, which its leaders and members know for certain, they did not stop their illegal activities, BELTA adds.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, “the leadership of the Rada coordinates destructive efforts with other extremist organizations, establishes connections with armed structures operating on the territory of Ukraine, which include citizens of Belarus.”

The Rada of the BPR in a message from the Prosecutor General’s Office is called a “pro-Nazi extremist formation” whose activities are “based both in the past and currently on the denial of the existence of a sovereign Belarusian state.”

“The head of the BPR Rada, translated from Belarusian into Russian and other languages ​​of the world, proclaims himself “president,” writes the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the actions of the leadership and members of the BPR Rada contain signs of the following crimes:

conspiracy or other actions with the aim of seizing state power (Part 1 of Article 357 of the Criminal Code);

leadership of an extremist formation, as well as a formation whose activities are aimed at the rehabilitation of Nazism, or participation in it (Part 1 of Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code);

involvement in extremist activities and other assistance to such activities committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code);

incitement of national, religious or other social hatred or hatred committed by a group of persons (Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code);

deliberate actions to rehabilitate Nazism, committed by a group of persons (Part 3 of Article 130-1);

incitement to participation of citizens of the Republic of Belarus on the territory of a foreign state in an armed formation of one of the warring parties, as well as participation in an armed conflict, military actions without the authority of the state (part 5 of article 16, part 1 of article 361-3 of the Criminal Code);

discrediting the Republic of Belarus (Article 369-1 of the Criminal Code).
