After the exhumation carried out in recent days, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of North Naples has today conferred on two specialists (a coroner and an anatomopathologist) the task of perform an autopsy on the body of Tiziana Cantone, the thirty-one-year-old Neapolitan who was found hanged on 13 September 2016 in the tavern of the house in Mugnano (Naples) where she lived with her mother and other relatives. About a year before, Tiziana Cantone had become involved in a story that had deeply marked her: some of her intimate videos had ended up on the web without her knowledge and uploaded to some porn sites. In addition, his image and some of his phrases taken from those videos were used to create memes that were then posted on social networks and quickly became viral.

The woman led a long legal battle to get both videos removed from the Net that of the memes, but just a few days before her death the Court issued a sentence which in part also gave her reason but which in any case imposed on her the payment of legal fees for a figure that was around twenty thousand euros. After the discovery of the body, the Naples North Public Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation for inducing suicide which never ended up with anything. Subsequently, Tiziana’s mother, Teresa Giglio, he became convinced that his daughter’s death was not due to suicide but to murder.

Next to her a Neapolitan lawyer and an investigation company which the broadcast of Italia 1 took care of just last night Hyenas in a report that found some of them presumed opacity. On the basis of these defensive investigations, however, Ms. Giglio presented two complaints to the Prosecutor’s Office in recent months. The first claims that the girl’s tablet and cell phone were tampered with after her death, while the second complaint openly speaks of murder. And on the basis of this initiative of Mrs. Giglio, the deputy prosecutor of North Naples Giovanni Corona opened a new investigation file and ordered that an autopsy be performed on the remains of Tiziana Cantone, an examination that the prosecutor intervened on that September 13 of five years ago he thought not to have it performed because he did not detect anything that suggested anything other than suicide. The specialists in charge of carrying out the examination will have to establish the causes of death, carry out toxicological tests and try to detect, if technically possible, any traces of organic finds under the woman’s nails. This is to try to establish (or exclude) if before her death Tiziana Cantone was the victim of an attack and tried in some way to defend herself.
