After the storm that hit the Kaliningrad region, which knocked down 80 trees and damaged dozens of cars, the regional prosecutor’s office took control of the elimination of the consequences of bad weather.
This was reported on February 20 in the press service of the department. As specified in the prosecutor’s office, in a number of settlements there are problems with electricity supply. During the inspection, compliance by the responsible authorities with the requirements of laws regarding the elimination of the consequences of the cyclone that hit the region will be established.
Earlier, MK in Kaliningrad reported that part of the facade of a historic building collapsed in Chernyakhovsk due to hurricane winds. Also during the day, 14 cars were under fallen trees, and 703 street lighting points turned off.
