In El Palmar National Park, an oath was sworn with the objective of promoting the environmental commitment of teaching staff and students in the construction of transformative practices linked to Environmental Education in the face of environmental problems.

The environmental oath is the instance in which everyone swears to protect the environment, its ecosystems and all manifest forms of life on earth. In this line, they worked on the axes of environment, commitments, sustainability, ecosystems, land and life.

A total of 362 students from twelve schools in Colón, Concordia, San José, Ubajay and rural establishments participated in the act; officials from the Entre Ríos Environment Secretariat and the National Parks Administration of the National Ministry of the Environment.

In Diamante, a day was held that included stands, talks, and workshops offered at the Tierra Chaná facilities, a municipal tourist attraction near the Pre Delta National Park.

On the occasion, material made by the PEA was presented, trees of native species were planted and identification signs of each species were placed. In addition, the Nature photographic exhibition was exhibited, donated by the Pre Delta National Park, with images rescued by the naturist Julián Alonso who seeks to raise awareness through his work, about the beauty and fragility of nature.

The activity was organized by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Nation, the Administration of National Parks and the Municipality of Diamante.

It should be noted that Environmental Education is a continuous and permanent process aimed at achieving a complex vision of reality and the acquisition and formation of values ​​in relation to the conservation and transformation of the environment, in such a way that citizens contribute to the well-being of the community through the appropriation of ecological values ​​and democratic coexistence.
