The “Accelera Pime” program and the Accelera Pime Rural Girona office (OAP-Rural) are already fully underway in the Girona regions. Four technicians hired by the Diputació de Girona, through the Local Economic Promotion and Development service, have started working throughout the territory with theobjective of promoting the digitization of small and medium-sized companies and the self-employed sector in municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants of the demarcation of Girona.
The personalized advice tasks are free and you cann provide technological solutions for companies that intend to promote the use of digital tools. Each technician has a defined territorial scope and, from there, attends on-site or online to companies interested in inform them about the help and solutions available, as well as give them a diagnosis of the digital maturity of their business. This program has eight physical spaceswith offices in the various headquarters of Girona’s county councils – in the case of Garrotxa and Ripollès, in the agencies entrusted with the activity of economic promotion – and with a virtual space with content in the field of digitization. The deputation has informed that, through the website, the trainings, networking days, workshops and talks organized as part of this program, which has an expected duration of two years.
