The text was adopted by 167 votes for, 101 against and 24 abstentions.

PS spokesperson Pierre Jouvet reported on how his dealings with LFI went, and justified the compromises made: “It is not necessarily obvious for the latest entrants [le PS] not to accept the proposed framework” on constituencies, program and strategy.

The mayor of Vaulx-en-Velin, Hélène Geoffroy, leader of the minority current, protested: “The deal you negotiated asks us to apologize, to repent, to deny part of our history. » Val-d’Oise senator Rachid Temal, also opposed to the agreement, thundered about some dissident candidates who are sure to declare themselves after the vote: “Jean-Luc Mélenchon will have to accept the insubordination.
