The spokesperson for Equality of the PSdeG in Parliament, Noa Daz, has demanded this Tuesday that the Xunta include in the educational curricula materials on affective-sexual education as a reaction to the increase in cases of sexual assault on minors.

The socialist deputy has presented a battery of initiatives to urge the Xunta to take urgent measures on violence against women, especially focused on strengthening the educational and family environment. Daz considers that the current situation is an unprecedented escalation of sexist violence before which a greater commitment is needed in the short, medium and long term on the part of the Galician Executive.

According to the annual memory of the judicial activity of the Galician courts and tribunals, the hearings of Galicia They tried in 2022 two people a week for sexual crimesand 65.6% of the complainants were minors.
