On March 10, State Duma deputy from the LDPR party Sergei Katasonov submitted for consideration to the lower house of parliament a bill on the introduction of a progressive tax scale in Russia. It assumes the abolition of personal income tax for citizens with an annual income of no more than 204 thousand rubles, that is, 17 thousand rubles. per month, and its gradual increase depending on higher earnings – up to 35% for those whose incomes exceed 100 million rubles.
