Difficult to implement, the 15 to 20 hours of activity required of recipients of the social minimum will not be enshrined in law but will constitute “an objective”.

The reform of RSA announced by the government could quickly turn into a headache. THE “employment contract”, which commits the beneficiary, in exchange for a few hundred euros per month, to deploy the energy necessary to give themselves the means to return to employment, is now accompanied by a target of 15 to 20 hours per week of investment. Otherwise, sanctions could fall for those who do not comply with the “accompaniment course”. “There will be the possibility of suspending (ugly)over a short period perhaps to start”thus warned the Prime Minister, Élisabeth Borne, during her trip to Reunion in mid-May.
