As mentioned, many who listen to the morning program of the radio station GenX Radio noticed that after Goff started the morning broadcast and played a song, he did not return to the broadcast after the end of the song. After a long silence another song was played but it stopped in the middle. After that, an official announcement was made by the radio station which said that with great sadness the presenter of the morning show passed away, probably due to a heart attack he experienced shortly after the start of the broadcast.

A short time later, the owner of the station, James Hazel, added to this that although at first he thought the station had no future without a body that was one of its founders, he would now do everything in order for the station to continue operating and thus perpetuate his memory.
