The frenetic pace of the game continued in the second half, Mikel Arteta’s men started to press hard all over the pitch, but Liverpool managed to sting, when Primino received a great ball from Jota and leveled the score again. The Gunners continued to control the ball and got into dangerous situations and in the 76th minute Saka restored Mikel Arteta’s rightful advantage when he scored from the penalty spot. Liverpool at the start of a catastrophic season and this game also failed to get Jurgen Klopp’s cart out of the mud.

Arsenal with a great record of eight wins and one loss, when in the next round they will meet Leeds and try to keep the top, but even before that they will play in the Europa League against Buda Glimt. On the other hand, Jurgen Klopp’s men will play in the Champions League in the middle of the week against Rangers and then they will meet another huge team in the next round, Manchester City, and maybe then they will be able to recover from the bad start of the season.
