The real thing! The Dimensity 9200 GPU is the same as SD 8 Gen 2 and above Apple’s A16 Bionic.

by time news

The other day, we saw the Dimensity 9200 test score from AnTuTu. Interestingly, the GPU score has been greatly upgraded. Now, well-known tipster Ice Universe tweeted about the Dimensity 9200 test result from the GFXBench app. Another confirmation of the strength of the GPU!

The Dimensity 9200 chip uses the new Immortalis-G715 GPU. You can do the test results as follows.

  • GFX 1080p Manhattan 3.0 off-screen = 328fps
  • GFX 1080p Manhattan 3.1 off-screen = 228fps

Compared to the GFX 1080p Manhattan 3.1 off-screen score of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which was previously dropped at 230fps, it is said to be at the same level.

And when taking this score in this category compared to that of the A16 Bionic, which has 190fps, it is considered that the two flagship chips on the Android side have scores on the GPU side that are much better than Apple’s.

It’s very interesting to see that the performance of the flagship chipset on the Android side has a higher benchmark than the iOS side. We will have to wait and see after the chip is launched. How much potential will each brand bring out?

For the Dimensity 9200 chip, it will be officially launched on November 8th. Wait to follow the strength of this chip!
