A historic meeting has taken place in recent hours between the Rebbe from the history of Avraham Yitzchak, one of the Hasidim who belong to the Haredi community, and Rabbi Druckman, one of the prominent leaders of religious Zionism.

In a document published by journalist Dvir Amar, the two are seen at a meeting at Hadassah Hospital, where Rabbi Druckman is hospitalized after feeling unwell in recent days, when in the last day he was also on the same floor at the hospital as Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak for medical treatment.

Kikar Hashabat has learned that the Rebbe, who was on his way out of the hospital, entered Rabbi Druckman’s room for a conversation that lasted about five minutes, during which the two talked in friendship.

According to the content of the conversation that reached Kikar Hashabbat, Rabbi Druckman told the Rebbe that he was privileged to be on the same ship that made its way to Eretz Yisrael together with the Rabbi of Damascus, Eliezer Zi’a. When in response the Rebbe noted the fact that there are young men and women from religious Zionism, and wearers of crocheted kippahs who tend to frequent the ’tishim’ in the courtyard of Toi every Saturday night, all to feel and respect the Sabbath, including the corona period, so there were difficulties.

After the words, the two wished complete healing and said goodbye when the Rebbe left the gates of the hospital for his home
