The island of Koh Phangan, in Thailand, was the scene of the macabre crime in which Daniel Sancho ended the life of Edwin Arrieta. The young man, who murdered and dismembered him, later confessed the facts to the country’s authorities. The first thing Daniel Sancho did in Koh Phangan was rent a motorcycle with which to tour the island. The local cameras, present in many of the establishments, record his movements.
On August 2, the recordings show the young man and the Colombian surgeon. A few minutes later, after 3:30 p.m., they could be seen entering the Bougain Villas hotel complex, facilities dedicated to tourism a few meters from the beach.
Later, at almost 8:00 p.m., Daniel Sancho could be seen walking along the sea with a bag. After a few moments, he rented a canoe with which he would have gone into the sea.
