In early February, Xiaomi presented its bet for this year’s mid-range, its new family Redmi Note 11. There were four models with different features, but with prices that barely exceeded 300 euros.

And now two other members of that same series arrive, both with 5G connectivity and one of them so powerful and sophisticated that it deserves to be considered high-end. Its about Redmi Note 11 Pro + 5G, a phone that, among other things, lands with a 120W ‘hyper fast charge’, unique in its category and that is capable of fully charging its 4500 milliamp battery in just 15 minutes. The charger is of course included inside the box.

Nobody, until now, offers something similar in the mid-range. Even the brand new Galaxy S22 Ultrathe most powerful (and expensive) ‘flagship’ of Samsung phones, is left ‘only’ with a fast charge of 45W.

foolproof power

The chosen processor is a MediaTek Dimensity 920, 5G-capable and built on 6-nanometer technology. It is a chip specially designed for a high-performance mid-range, and supports screen refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and the incorporation of cameras of up to 108 megapixels (both things present in this terminal). It is accompanied by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.

With an elegant and anti-fingerprint design, a rear module houses the cameras, whose configuration is the same as in the Pro model presented in February. The main sensor is 108 megapixels (Samsung ISOCELL HM2), with a very high resolution that allows capturing even the smallest details. It combines 9 large 2.1 micrometer pixels into one, with a 3x zoom capability. Equipped with Dual ISO and in combination with Artificial Intelligence, the sensor is capable of capturing extremely detailed and bright images, even at night or in very low light levels. 2 megapixel macro camera. The front camera is 16 megapixels.

The AMOLED screen of 6.67 inches and FHD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), it has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a tactile response of 360 Hz, which guarantees fluidity at all times. In audio, we find two powerful stereo speakers, above and below, calibrated by JBL. And yes, we have a 3.5mm mini jack input for external headphones.

But the best, without a doubt, are the prices, which are once again surprising. This authentic beast, in fact, costs 399.99 euros with 6 GB of Ram plus 128 GB of storage, which rises to 429 and 449 euros if we prefer 8 GB + 128 GB or 8 GB + 256 GB. .

Xiaomi also introduced the new Redmi Note 11S 5G, an even cheaper terminal that comes with MediaTek Dimensity 810, simpler than the other model, a 5000 milliamp battery and 33W fast charge and a 90W refresh rate. That is, with all the essences. The main camera is 50 megapixels, accompanied by the same 8 megapixel ultra wide angle and 2 megapixel macro.

Its price, with 6 GB +128 64 GB of storage, is 299.99 euros. Finally, Xiaomi also presented a basic Redmi, the 10 5G, with fast connectivity and with prices of 229.99 euros (4GB of RAM plus 64GB for storage) and 249.99 euros (4GB + 128GB).
