Huawei may start selling its new flagship smartphones from the P70 series at any time. This was reported by the publication iXBT, citing a Chinese insider speaking on the Weibo social network under the username Digital Chat Station (DCS), Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.
According to Digital Chat Station, the device may be released on the official Huawei website in China. From the words of the insider, it can also be assumed that the Chinese vendor does not intend to hold a presentation of its new flagships.
Initially, the announcement and release of the Huawei P70 series was expected at the end of March 2024. However, later information appeared online about the event being postponed indefinitely.
According to rumors, new Huawei smartphones will run on the company’s proprietary processor, the Kirin 9010. Depending on the model, the diagonal of the LTPO screen will vary from 6.58 to 6.8 inches.
It is expected that the P70 series will be equipped with a main camera with an OV50H or IMX989 sensor. The smartphones should also get a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP telephoto lens with a periscope that allows for 4x optical zoom. In addition, satellite communications and a design update are announced.
