Then it jumps onto the counter, looks hurriedly left and right as if trouble is imminent, reaches into a bowl and stuffs a lettuce leaf into its mouth. While the “Ahs” and “Ohs” of the guests are still floating in the air, the little monkey has already disappeared again. The waiter stamps his feet as if to send a warning after the animal. Hippos keep a polite distance
