After the departure of Aden Kartsev, who arrived today (Wednesday) at noon in Moscow after a connecting flight from Istanbul, Maccabi Netanya is looking for at least one replacement and ONE has learned that one of the main candidates for the Diamonds is Aden Shamir.
The midfielder of Standard Liège, who was loaned to Maccabi Tel Aviv last season, is highly valued in Netanya, when an initial contact has already been made. In the yellow uniform last year, he scored seven goals in 33 games, while most of his career was spent in Kiryat Shmona, where he played 133 games.
Officials in Belgium made it clear that the midfielder is not really in the plans of Norwegian coach Ronny Deila as he did not participate in his team’s first two league games. This is the last year of the player’s contract in Belgium and therefore his team also has the interest to sell him.
