Over a ton of red peppers were shared by the residents of the Chepelari village of Zabardo. “The peppers are a donation from the people of Rhodope to the residents of the village. They are distributed among all the families in the village, with an average of about 10 kg each. They are a donation from Stefan and Evgeniy. They are my friends and come from the village of Padina in Kardzhali, but they live in First of May. They grow over 150 hectares of peppers. I told them that people in the village are now looking for vegetables for winter, and they immediately said that they will donate first-class peppers to all the people of Zabardov.” said the mayor of the village Valentin Cherpokov. In addition to the free winter insurance, the residents of Zabardo today benefit from free eye examinations provided by the mayor.
The examinations are performed by three doctors from the mobile eye office “Progled” – Stara Zagora. Doctors do not refuse an examination to all who wish, including guests and tourists in the Rhodope village.
