jpnn.comBANDUNG – Chairman of the Bandung City General Election Commission (KPU), Khoirul Anam, confirmed that the schedule for the inauguration of the elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bandung is still in accordance with the regulations issued by the center.
Based on Presidential Regulation Number 80 of 2024 concerning Procedures for the Inauguration of Regional Heads, the inauguration of the elected candidate pairs for governor and deputy governor in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections is scheduled for February 7 2025.
Then the inauguration of the elected pair of regent and deputy regent candidates, and the elected pair of mayor and deputy mayor candidates is scheduled for February 10 2025.
“If you look so far, based on the regulations that the KPU has issued, it still refers to (the date) February 10 for mayors and deputy mayors, as well as regents and deputy regents,” said Anam when met after an open plenary meeting to determine the Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Bandung was elected at City Hall, Thursday (9/1/2025).
Anam added that regarding the results of the election for regional head candidates, there were no objections or complaints submitted by other candidate pairs.
Therefore, his party could immediately determine the cakada which was won by the pair Muhammad Farhan and Erwin.
“Thank God, the city of Bandung is one of the 40 percent where there have been no objections or lawsuits. “Until yesterday, there had been no lawsuit from any party regarding the process or results of the regional head election in Bandung City,” he explained.
On the other hand, the Bandung City KPU today appointed candidate pair (paslon) serial number 3 M Farhan and Erwin as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bandung for the period 2025 – 2030.
Bandung City KPU Khoirul Anam confirmed that the schedule for the inauguration of the elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bandung still complies with the regulations issued by the center.
