The joyful news of the Resurrection of the Lord rang out together with the wishes of its residents and visitors, who flooded the forecourts of the churches with their presence to receive the Holy Light and listen to the Resurrection Liturgy.
Solemn, resounding and optimistic, was the message of the Resurrection that was heard in the churches of the island. Aegina “bathed” in the Light of Life’s victory over decay and death, celebrated the Resurrection Procession on the evening of Holy Saturday.
With the Resurrection Divine Liturgy, the brilliant celebration of Holy Week is completed, which took place in an overwhelming and mystifying atmosphere. Christ is Risen! Happy Birthday!
