by time news

The Splinter Cell game series, starring Secret Agent Sam Fisher, is set to return. The series was inspired by the involvement of the well-known suspense writer Tom Clancy, Launched in 2002 with six more games later, until 2013. The return to the series is straight to the first game that started the chain of stealth, suspense and shooting games, with plots laden with conspiracies and spy games, and will be renewed with the updated Ubisoft engine. ).

According to the company, the new edition of the game will be developed from scratch and the responsibility for the work is in the hands of its studio in Montreal, which was also responsible for a large part of the games in the series, including the last one – as mentioned in 2013.

The significant difference is, as mentioned above, the change in the engine that the game will use. All previous games used Epic’s Unreal engine, in different versions of course, while the developers will use the Snowdrop engine developed by Ubisoft’s programmers.

The game will not change, and it will remain completely true to the original, meaning exactly the same linear plot. It is in the early stages of development only, so it will take a long time before it reaches the actual market.
