For these and other reasons, these holidays have left almost thirty deaths on the asphalt, from 22 traffic accidents that have been registered, as reported by sources from the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) to Europa Press in its provisional balance.

The Easter week operation began last Friday, March 31, and ends tomorrow at 11:59 p.m. At this time, April 1, Saturday, it was the most sinister day with three fatal accidents and six deaths. Also on Saturday, April 8, there were three accidents that left four dead.

In addition, this same Sunday there was an accident that has left a deceased person of 47 years in Casas de Ves (Albacete) on the CM-3207 at 12:20 p.m. due to the frontal-lateral collision between a car and a motorcycle.

The DGT estimates that an average of 1,566,667 daily trips will take place during these days, 2.5% more than last year. Likewise, at 8:00 p.m. this Sunday, the agency has reported that there are still some 172,000 vehicles to enter the capital.
