From 29 August, Wanted Cinema will bring to Italian cinemas “The Rider – The Dream of a Cowboy”, second feature by Chinese director Chloé Zhao – will soon direct the new film produced by Marvel Studios and which has just finished shooting its third feature film, “Nomadland”, starring Oscar-winning actress Frances McDorman – who after an important festival journey, from Cannes to Toronto, via Sundance, was awarded the Best Film 2018 award from the National Society of Film Critics. The film, a contemporary western between fiction and documentary, reworks the imagination of the cowboy through the story of Brady, a young rising rodeo star who, following a disastrous injury, sees his dreams vanish.
