Islamic Extremism and Anti-Western Sentiment On the Rise in Germany
The recent barbaric terrorist attack on October 7th and the subsequent declaration of the ‘Iron Swords’ war has ignited large pro-Palestinian demonstrations throughout Germany. However, these demonstrations are being used to promote an Islamist, anti-establishment, and anti-Western political agenda.
One of the organizations behind these pro-Palestinian demonstrations is called ‘Dor Islam’, also known as Generation Islam or GI. This organization targets young Muslims and non-Muslims in Germany with the aim of undermining the existing political order and spreading the idea that liberal democracy should be replaced by a pan-Islamic caliphate and Sharia law.
The organization primarily operates on the basis of Islamic norms and conducts an open discourse to influence the attitudes of non-Muslim society in German-speaking countries. It is also linked to the pan-Islamic organization Hizb al-Tahrir, which advocates for the re-establishment of an all-Islamic caliphate and the application of Sharia in all areas.
While Hizb al-Tahrir does not preach the use of violence to achieve its ideological goals, it does not rule out the use of violence for the purpose of “protecting” Muslims from “Western aggression”, including Zionism.
The ‘Islamic Generation’ has been actively distributing videos and publications that rewrite the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict and manipulate the narrative to further their anti-Western sentiment. The organization also attacks the Chinese regime, the French president, and the Western governments for their treatment of Muslim communities.
Despite calls to outlaw ‘Dor Islam’ and ban its activities, it seems that the organization has already established a significant presence in Germany. The rise of Islamic extremism and anti-Western sentiment in the country poses a significant challenge to the existing social and political order.
