INTERVIEW – The suicide of a loved one can be particularly painful or incomprehensible.

Losing a loved one is always a difficult ordeal. And this can be particularly painful or incomprehensible when it comes to suicide. On March 20, a platform intended for these people will be put online. This tool, called Hope, is the result of research carried out by researchers and doctors from the psychiatric emergencies functional unit of the Le Vinatier hospital center (Lyon), the Lille University Hospital, the Reshape research laboratory (RESearch on HealthcAre PErformance ) from Claude-Bernard University – Lyon 1 in collaboration with the communication agency Interlude Santé. The Dr Édouard Leaune, psychiatrist at the Vinatier hospital suicide prevention center and responsible for consultation for people bereaved by suicide, is the main investigator of this project.
