During their talks, Mr. Talbi Alami and Mr. Bayramov highlighted the quality of relations between the two countries, “based on mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, and constant support during various regional and international forums,” said a statement from the House of Representatives.
In this regard, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on an official visit to Morocco on the occasion of the 2nd session of the Morocco-Azerbaijan Joint Commission, reaffirmed his country’s constant and firm position in favor of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and the sovereignty of Morocco over its entire national territory.
For his part, Mr. Talbi Alami expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Republic of Azerbaijan for its constant support for Morocco’s sovereignty over its entire territory, the same source said.
Furthermore, the two parties highlighted the centrality of bilateral and multilateral parliamentary relations in consolidating relations between the two countries on all levels, particularly in the economic, commercial and business fields, noting that these relations have been strengthened in recent years through mutual visits, and the development of communication links, cooperation, exchange of experiences and expertise between the two parliamentary institutions, in addition to coordination in areas of common parliamentary interest, the statement continued.
This meeting, which took place in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Morocco, Nazim Adil Oglu Samadov, was also an opportunity to exchange views on various priority subjects on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral parliamentary relations, it added.
