Riyadh: Five people were injured when the roof of a restaurant collapsed. The incident took place in Saudi Arabia. The injured included women. The roof of a restaurant in Alcobar collapsed on top of customers. The front roof collapsed and fell on top of customers. A child was also injured in the accident.

It is learned that all the injured were from Saudi Arabia. They were admitted to King Fahad University Hospital. Authorities said the health condition of the injured was satisfactory. Prince Saud bin Naif, the governor of the eastern province, said they had been assured of better treatment. He also directed the Eastern Province Chief of Defense to investigate and report on the accident.
