Three rowdies have been arrested following a complaint lodged at the police station in connection with a rowdy gang of 10 people who hijacked and smashed the car in which the bishops were traveling.

A group of about 10 youths on Mayilvakanapura Road in a drunken state as all but one were returning home in a car with their bishops’ clothes.
They confiscated the car and demanded money, but when the bishops refused, the vehicle in which they were traveling was smashed and an attempt was made to attack the bishops.
They said they defended themselves. A complaint has been lodged at the Dharmapuram police station and three suspects have been arrested
The bishops also said that the Dharmapuram police had informed them. They also said that it was a matter of great concern that the bishops were attacked and slandered while they were in their robes.
