The Royal Armed Forces organize the 1st International Military Music Festival
Rabat – On the occasion of the commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, may God assist Him, to the Throne of His Glorious Ancestors, the Royal Armed Forces are organizing, as part of the festivities marking this happy event, the 1st International Military Music Festival, which will be held from July 26 to 30, 2024, at the main squares of the cities of Rabat, Salé, Témara, Tétouan and M’diq.
This exceptional event will bring together 7 National Bands, from the different components of the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Guard, the Royal Gendarmerie, the General Directorate of National Security and the Auxiliary Forces, as well as foreign Military Bands from 6 countries: Saudi Arabia, Ivory Coast, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, the United States of America and Senegal, indicates a press release from the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
The opening ceremony will take place in Rabat on July 26, 2024 at Place Al Barid, followed on July 27, 2024 by shows, simultaneously in Rabat at Mahaj Riad, Salé at Bab El Mrissa and Témara at Plage Harhoura.
The Festival will culminate on July 30, 2024 with a closing concert, at the Place El Mechouar in Tetouan, which will be preceded, on July 29, 2024 at the M’diq cornice, by musical performances. The Military Bands will present the various shows of the Festival from 9:00 p.m.
The International Military Music Festival is a first to highlight the richness and diversity of military musical traditions in participating countries.
