The royal family is fully embracing the holiday season, sharing their festive spirit with the release of a pair of new Christmas cards.

Prince William and Princess Kate delighted fans with a new black-and-white family portrait by Josh Shinner. The 2023 card features the casually clad Prince and Princess of Wales alongside their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Meanwhile, King Charles III and Queen Camilla revealed their first official Christmas card as king and queen. The photo, taken by Hugo Burnand, was captured in the Throne Room of Buckingham Palace following the coronation in May.

In the image, King Charles III and Queen Camilla are seen wearing the same regal attire from their coronation, with Charles sporting a purple silk velvet robe and Camilla wearing an original robe of estate designed by Bruce Oldfield. Camilla is also seen wearing Queen Mary’s crown, while Charles dons the imperial state crown.

Both cards were released just a day after Princess Kate hosted the holiday special “Together At Christmas,” in collaboration with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, at Westminster Abbey. The third annual Christmas concert featured the Westminster Abbey choir performing carols with guests such as Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, and other talented singers.

The program, which focuses on early childhood development in line with Kate’s new Shaping Us awareness campaign, is set to air on the British television network ITV on Christmas Eve.

The royal family’s holiday celebrations are in full swing, spreading joy and cheer to the public during this festive season.
