Water scarcity has become a real challenge, which is especially accentuated by the succession of years of drought which have had a negative impact on water resources in addition to the strong demand for this vital commodity by all sectors, added Mr. Tilioua.
Overcoming these challenges requires close coordination and efforts from all parties that are commensurate with this problem, combining seriousness, professionalism and efficiency in execution, underlines the sustainable development expert.
Regarding the slogans of the Royal Speech, Mr. Tilioua cited, among others, good governance of water resources, technological innovation, specialized training, rationalization of the use of resources and pooling of efforts of all parties concerned in order to meet the complex challenges inherent in water security.
The researcher also emphasized the call of HM the King to take all necessary urgent measures within the framework of the implementation of the components of the National Program for the Supply of Drinking Water and Irrigation.
