“His Majesty the King has made his own the concept of an African Atlantic community, of which Morocco was behind its launch in 2022,” Mr. Aboudahab said in a statement to MAP, adding that the Royal Speech gives new impetus to the reflection around strategic constructions ordered in favor of the rise of Africa.
The Sovereign also emphasized the issue of South-South cooperation which will be further consolidated through projects led by the Kingdom, including the major Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline project which concerns at least 15 countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), he continued.
Mr. Aboudahab, on the other hand, highlighted the diplomatic achievements of the Kingdom and the growing international recognitions which always confirm this paradigm built around the relevance and preeminence of the autonomy plan, as the only political solution for the settlement of the artificial conflict around the Moroccan Sahara.
“The Moroccan Sahara is on the way to becoming the epicenter for building communities of development and sharing in Africa and elsewhere,” he stressed.
The southern provinces are called upon to play a major role as a catalyst for development, not only at the national level, but also at the regional and continental level, he said, affirming that the Royal Speech, of prospective scope, denotes a geostrategic vision of Morocco in favor of progress and common development on the Continent.
