The Royal Speech has a geostrategic scope of international dimension, noted Mr. Roudani in a statement to MAP, stressing that the Sovereign called, in this Speech, for the establishment of a holistic strategy for African inclusion in the Atlantic space.
He also affirmed that His Majesty the King emphasized the issues and difficulties facing the Sahel region, noting that the objective is for this region to be inclusive in all geopolitical and geoeconomic dimensions of the Atlantic.
The political scientist also indicated that the Royal Speech highlighted the major role that Morocco can play in creating this synergy between the Sahel countries so that they are more inclusive in the Atlantic dimension and to establish a global strategy for the development of the entire African continent.
“Morocco is in the process of setting up strategic Atlantic force parameters so that this geopolitical space plays a leading role in the development of the African continent, particularly the Sahel countries,” explained Mr. Roudani, stressing that His Majesty the King proposes appropriate and relevant solutions for the development of West Africa and the Sahel, including an initiative capable of bringing out this space which is experiencing security difficulties, with the terrorist attacks perpetrated in the region.
The Sovereign, through this Speech, solemnly calls on the international community to engage in the path of development and strategic reflection for a political economy capable of meeting the needs of the population of the Sahelo-Saharan countries and the Atlantic African countries, he continued.
The Royal Speech also emphasizes several approaches and redefines the way in which the world should look at Africa, particularly the Atlantic African countries, said Mr. Roudani, noting that His Majesty the King has laid the foundations for a South Atlantic geopolitics.
