The Royal Vision, a driving force for all change including in football (professor of sociology of sport)

Rabat – The Royal vision remains the driving force behind any change made in the Kingdom, including in sports in general and football in particular, stressed Abderrahim Bourkia, professor of sports sociology at the Institute of Sports Sciences at Hassan I University in Settat.

“We have witnessed an unprecedented feat for our national women’s football. This is our first participation and qualification for the round of 16, in a group that included Germany, world number 2, South Korea and Colombia,” he said in a statement to MAP, noting that this performance is the fruit of the Royal vision which remains the driving force behind any change.

Thanks to the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco is experiencing great changes, the results of which are palpable, noted this sports expert, adding that women’s football has taken another big step forward with this feat.

“We have many challenges and challenges to overcome, but through serious work and synergy of efforts we can achieve great things together,” he observed, adding that work and seriousness end up paying off and bearing fruit.

And to conclude that the strategic vision for the promotion of national football in all age categories, implemented by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, under the leadership of HM the King, will allow the Kingdom to achieve other feats of which all Moroccans will always be proud.

Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses have written their name in the annals of football history by securing their first qualification for the knockout phase of the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
