The event for the cutting of the pie of the Ioannina Runners Association last Saturday was accompanied by a series of honorary awards.
In addition to those distinguished in road races of the previous year, the Association awarded plaques of honor to local authorities, bodies and people who support it in practice.
As far as the members of the Association are concerned, Lambrini Ducsi was awarded for her participation and finish in the “SPARTATHLON”, Archimedes Kavakidis for his top performance in the 2023 San Sebastian Marathons (02:36:00), Vienna (02 :40:00) and in the Authentic Athens Marathon (02:40:00), George Gogos for his performance in the “Alexander the Great” Marathon (02:55:23), Marina Oikonomou for her performance in the Florence Marathon ( 03:29:20), Chrysa Tzima for her performance in the Nafplio Marathon (03:17:56), Georgia Sioziu for her performance in the Authentic Athens Marathon (03:56:13) and the “Alexander the Great” Marathon (3:52:47), Aspa Gogou for her performance in the 2023 Nafplio Marathon (03:54:43), Theodora Anastasiadis for her performance in the “Alexander the Great” Marathon (03:34:56), Dimitra Tzalokosta for her performance in the Authentic Athens Marathon 2023 (03:21:22), Georgios Pantoulas and Vasilios Giotakis for their sporting successes, Evelina Goiannou for her competitive appearances with the “Run With Me” Team and the Runners’ Association of Ioannina and Eleftherios Arabatzis for his voluntary contribution to the Association.
Also, the Region of Epirus, the Municipality of Ioannina and the Traffic Department of Ioannina were honored for their assistance in the 6th Ioannina Road Half Marathon 2023, the Hellenic Red Cross (Samaritan Volunteer Corps) for its voluntary contribution to the races organized by the S.D. Ioannina, the Cultural Associations of Koutseliou, Vrysoula, Katsika, Kastritsa, Drosohori, Apantachou Ampelohorita and the Educational Association of Thesprotiko for their voluntary contribution to the 6th Ioannina Road Half Marathon 2023, the volunteer group Paguristas for its voluntary contribution to the sports activities of the S.D .I., the Grand Serai Hotel and Cens Luxury Suites for their assistance in the sporting events of the S.D.I. and the “Run with me” group for the strong messages of humanity and inclusion in the 6th Ioannina Road Half Marathon.
The lucky ones of the evening were Athanasia Fouka and Kostas Karasas, who received the two crowns.
