Russian Aleksandr Vlasov won the 75th Tour de Romandie on Sunday May 1, the first big victory of his career, knocking out the last time trial between Aigle and Villars and the green jersey Rohan Dennis. The 26-year-old Russian climber, already second by a breath on Saturday in the queen mountain stage, wins the general classification with 50 seconds ahead of Gino Mäder and 55 seconds over Simon Geschke. Leader of the event since the first stage on Wednesday, the Australian Rohan Dennis completely cracked in this solo effort of which he is nevertheless a specialist, with two world titles in the time trial (2018, 2019).
