The Russians in December began to order the delivery of parcels across the country less often

The volume of delivery items in Russia in December 2022 increased by 30% yoy, but the increase was 10 percentage points less than in the same month a year earlier. This is stated in the analytical review of the logistics companies PEK, CDEK, Boxberry and Pony Express, which Vedomosti got acquainted with.

Absolute figures are not given in the review. But the trend is generally confirmed by the data of the analytical agency Data Insight. He estimates that in the three quarters of 2022 alone, 1.7 billion orders were delivered to the e-commerce market, a 52% increase compared to the same period last year. For the whole of 2021, 1.57 billion items were delivered (+78% by 2020).
