Air New Zealand has been named as the safest airline to travel in 2024, according to AirlineRatings.com, surpassing by 1.5 points Qantaswhich last year crowned this ranking.

The publication chooses the 25 safest airlines in the world each year taking into account factors such as incidents, accidents, audits by safety agencies, profitability, safety initiatives, pilot training or the fleet.
